remuneration determination means a determination made by the Remuneration Tribunal under subsection 7 (3) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973.

8QD Annual rate of salary (Act, s 5 (3))

         (1)   This regulation applies to an eligible employee who:

                (a)    is bound by an agreement in which express provision is made that, for the Act, the employee’s annual rate of salary is an amount mentioned in, or ascertained under, the agreement; or

               (b)    is mentioned in, or is included in a class of persons mentioned in, a remuneration determination in which express provision is made that, for the Act, the employee’s annual rate of salary is an amount mentioned in, or ascertained under, the remuneration determination.

         (2)   Despite any other provision in these regulations, for the Act, the annual rate of salary on a particular day for the employee is an amount equal to the amount, per annum, referred to in subregulation (1).
