Electoral and Referendum Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Electoral and Referendum Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 2 (Prescribed authorities under paragraphs 91 (11) (a) and (b) of the Act)

3.1   Part 1:

Omit the Part, substitute:

“PART 1—SPECIFIED DEPARTMENTS

Attorney-General’s Department

Department of Defence

Department of Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs

Department of Primary Industries and Energy

Department of Transport and Regional Development

Department of Veterans’ Affairs”.

3.2   Part 2:

Omit “Australian Government Retirement Benefits Office”.

3.3   Part 2:

After “Centrelink”, insert “Comsuper”.
