Proceeds of Crime Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Proceeds of Crime Act 1987.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Proceeds of Crime Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

 

2.   Regulation 3A (Distributable funds)

2.1   Add at the end:

         “; (e)   money referred to in paragraph 34B (1) (g) of the Act.”.

3.   Regulation 15 (Determination of amount of balance of distributable funds)

3.1   Paragraph (1) (b):

After “to a State”, insert “or to a foreign country”.

3.2   Subregulation (2):

Omit the regulation.

4.   Regulation 16 (Law enforcement projects—prescribed law enforcement agencies)

4.1   Omit the regulation.
