REGULATIONS UNDER THE PAPUA NEW GUINEA (APPLICATION OF LAWS) ACT 1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Papua New Guinea (Application of Laws) Act 1973.

Papua New Guinea (Application of Laws) Regulations

Citation.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Papua New Guinea (Application of Laws) Regulations.

Cessation of Broadcasting and Television Act 1942-1973.

2. The Broadcasting and Television Act 1942-1973 shall cease to have effect as part of the law of Papua New Guinea on and from 1 December 1973.

Cessation of the Overseas Telecommunications Act 1946-1971.

3. The Overseas Telecommunications Act 1946-1971 shall cease to have effect as part of the law of Papua New Guinea on and from 1 December 1973.

Cessation of the Australian Security Intelligence Organization Act 1956.

4. The Australian Security Intelligence Organization Act 1956 shall cease to have effect as part of the law of Papua New Guinea on and from 1 December 1973.
