Judiciary Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and pursuant to section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulations under the Judiciary Act 1903.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Judiciary Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, the Act means the Judiciary Act 1903.

Prescribed law of a State—paragraph 39 (2) (d) of the Act

3. For the purposes of paragraph 39 (2) (d) of the Act, the Arbitration (Civil Actions) Act, 1983 of the State of New South Wales is prescribed.
