Superannuation (Former Eligible Employees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation (Former Eligible Employees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 13 (Application of the Act to certain former employees of repatriation institutions who join State superannuation schemes)

3.1   Regulation 13 (inserted by regulation 3 of Statutory Rules 1991 No. 445) is amended by omitting “3.” and substituting “13.”.

4.   Regulation 13 (Application of the Act to certain former employees of repatriation institutions who join State superannuation schemes)

4.1   Paragraphs 13 (a) and (d):

Omit “Repatriation Institutions (Staff) Act 1991”, substitute “Repatriation Institutions (Transfer) Act 1992”.

5.   Regulations amending the Superannuation (Former Eligible Employees) Regulations

5.1   Statutory Rules 1991 No. 445 are amended by omitting subregulation 1.1 and substituting:

“1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1992.”.
