Family Law Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, The administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Family Law Act 1975.

1. Commencement
1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 November 1995.
2. Amendment
2.1 The Family Law Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
3. Schedule 5 (Prescribed laws for purposes of definition of “child welfare law” in section 60 of the Act)
3.1 Item 20:
Omit “Children’s Protection and Young Offenders Act, 1979”, substitute “Children’s Protection Act 1993”.
3.2 Item 21:
Omit “Community Welfare Act, 1972”, substitute “Family and Community Services Act 1972”.
3.3 Item 22:
Omit “Mental Health Act, 1976”, substitute “Mental Health Act 1993”.
3.4 Item 23:
Omit “Adoption of Children Act 1968”, substitute “Adoption Act 1988 (sections 27, 40, 42 and 47 and paragraph 43 (1) (b))”.
3.5 Item 24:
Omit “Child Protection Act 1974”, substitute “Child Protection Act 1974 (sections 3A, 9, 10 and 10A)”.
3.6 Item 25:
Omit “Child Welfare Act 1960”, substitute “Child Welfare Act 1960 (paragraphs 23 (1) (c), 28 (1) (b) and 34 (1) (a), sections 33A, 35 and 39 and subsection 34 (5))”.
