National Health Regulations 2 (Amendment)

 

 

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953.

1.   Commencement

1.1   Regulation 4 commences on 1 August 1991.

 

 

2.   Amendment

2.1   The National Health Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 

3.   Regulation 4 (Day hospital facility)

3.1   Add at the end:

             “;(i)  the premises known as Corinna Chambers Eye Clinic and situated at Corinna Chambers, Corinna Street, Woden, Australian Capital Territory.”.

 

 

4.   Part 2 (Government Nursing Homes)

4.1   Omit the Part.

 

 

5.   Regulation 25 (Minister to notify proprietors)

5.1   Add at the end:

 

             “(2)  A notice must include a statement to the effect that the notice may be referred by the proprietor to a Panel.”.

 

 

6.   Regulation 33 (Annual reports)

6.1   Add at the end:

 

             “(2)  The Minister is to cause a copy of a report to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after the day when the report was furnished to the Minister.”.
