A.C.T. Self-Government (Consequential

Provisions) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the A.C.T. Self-Government (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988.

Schedule 1

Schedule 1 to the A.C.T. Self-Government (Consequential Provisions) Regulations is amended by inserting in its appropriate alphabetical position (determined on a letter-by-letter basis according to the citation of the Act to be modified) the following:

Telecommunications (Interception) Act 1979

Subsection 5 (1) (subparagraph (a) (vi) of the definition of class 2 offence):

Omit or of a State, substitute , a State or the Australian Capital Territory.
