Superannuation (Retiring Age) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Superannuation Act 1976.

Minimum retiring age

Regulation 5 of the Superannuation (Retiring Age) Regulations is amended by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) the following paragraph:

(zd) a person employed under section 13 of the Governor-General Act 1974 whose minimum retiring age, in accordance with the terms and conditions of his or her employment, is the age of 55 years..
