Jury Exemption Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Jury Exemption Act 1965.

Exemptions relating to public administration

Regulation 7 of the Jury Exemption Regulations is amended:

(a) by adding and at the end of paragraphs (l) (a) and (2) (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) and (h);

(b) by omitting subparagraph (2) (j) (ii) and substituting the following subparagraph:

(ii) Assistant Secretary, North America and Europe Branch;;

(c) by adding at the end of subregulation (2) the following word and paragraph:

; and (k) a person holding, or for the time being performing the duties of, the position of Parliamentary Liaison Officer in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet..
