Proceeds of Crime Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Proceeds of Crime Act 1987.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on the date of commencement of Schedule 1 to the Bankruptcy Legislation Amendment Act 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Proceeds of Crime Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 8 (Remuneration of Official Trustee)

3.1   Paragraph 8 (1) (a):

Omit “of $200 per hour or part of an hour; or”, substitute “of the amount for each hour or part of an hour prescribed in paragraph 16.07 (8) (c) of the Bankruptcy Regulations; or”.

3.2   Paragraph 8 (1) (b):

Omit “of $135 per hour or part of an hour; or”, substitute “of the amount for each hour or part of an hour prescribed in paragraph 16.07 (8) (d) of the Bankruptcy Regulations; or”.

3.3   Paragraph 8 (1) (c):

Omit “of $100 per hour or part of an hour;”, substitute “of the amount for each hour or part of an hour prescribed in paragraph 16.07 (8) (e) of the Bankruptcy Regulations;”.
