1 Name
This is the Defence Force (Entry Upon and Use of Land—Woomera Prohibited Area) Authorisation 2014.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on the day this instrument is made.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under regulation 34 of the Defence Force Regulations 1952.
4 Schedules
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
5 Authorisation to enter and use land on behalf of the Commonwealth
(1) Entry upon, and the use on behalf of the Commonwealth of, the area of land situated in South Australia and delineated on the plan numbered G.P. 249 / 1989, sheet 2, dated 1 September 2014, deposited in the General Registry Office at Adelaide, is authorised for the purpose of carrying out operations for the testing of war material.
(2) The area of land mentioned in subsection (1) is an area in which it is necessary or expedient in the interest of the safety or defence of Australia to carry out operations for the testing of war material.
