CSIRO GUNGAHLIN HOMESTEAD PRECINT

Heritage Management Plan – Invitation for Public Comment

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), in consultation with the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, is developing a Heritage Management Plan for the Gungahlin Homestead Precinct, (Bellenden Street, Crace, ACT).

Under the Environment Protection Biodiversity and Conservation Act 1999, CSIRO and the Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities invite comments on the draft heritage management plan from individuals, organizations or groups with interests in the property.

Comments received will allow us to address public perceptions and concerns regarding the place prior to preparation of a Final Draft for formal submission to the Minister.

How to participate:

The consultation period is open from 27 August 2013 to 25 September 2013.

During this period you can:

·         Come to the CSIRO Corporate Centre located at 30 Limestone Avenue, Campbell, ACT between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm Monday - Friday to view the exposure draft; or

 

·         Visit our website at http://www.csiro.au/heritage/CraceACT.
