The People’s Republic of China
Notice pursuant to subsections 10(3B) and 10(3D) of the
Customs Tariff (Anti-Dumping) Act 1975
I, MARK DREYFUS, Attorney-General, having decided to issue a notice pursuant to section 269TJ(2) of the Customs Act 1901 in respect of certain zinc coated (galvanised) steel described in that notice (the goods), DIRECT pursuant to subsection 10(3B) of the
Customs Tariff (Anti-Dumping) Act 1975 (the Dumping Duty Act), that the interim countervailing duty referred to in paragraph 10(3A) in respect of certain galvanised steel exported from the People’s Republic of China to Australia be ascertained as a proportion of the export price of those particular goods.
Pursuant to subsection 10(3D) of the Customs Tariff (Anti-Dumping) Act 1975, I have had regard to the desirability of fixing a lesser amount of duty such that the sum of:
(i) the export price of those particular goods, and
(ii) that amount of the interim countervailing duty as so fixed, and
(iii) the amount of interim dumping duty as fixed under section 8
does not exceed the non-injurious price of goods of that kind as ascertained.
This notice applies to the goods entered for home consumption on and after the date of publication of this notice.
Dated this 25th day of July, 2013
Mark Dreyfus
Attorney-General
