Superannuation (CSS) Approved Authority Declaration No. 14

I, RALPH WILLIS, Minister for Finance, make the following Declaration under subsection 3 (1) of the Superannuation Act 1976.

Citation

               1.   This Declaration may be cited as Superannuation (CSS) Approved Authority Declaration No. 14.

Commencement

               2.   (1)    Subclause 4 (1) is taken to have commenced on 1 March 1993.


          (2)    Subclause 4 (2) commences when the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Act 1992 commences.

Interpretation

               3.   In this Declaration:

“Act” means the Superannuation Act 1976.

Approved authorities

               4.   (1)    For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “approved authority” in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, each of the following bodies is declared to be an approved authority for the purposes of the Act:

             (a)   the Australian National Training Authority;

             (b)   the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation.

             (2)   For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “approved authority” in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, the National Registration Authority for Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals is declared to be an approved authority for the purposes of the Act.
