Multipoint Distribution System Band Plan2 (Amendment)

I, KIM CHRISTIAN BEAZLEY, the Minister of State for Transport and Communications, being satisfied that making the following amendments to the Multipoint Distribution System Band Plan is a matter of urgency, hereby make the following amendments to that frequency band plan under section 19 of the Radiocommunications Act 1983.

AN AMENDMENT TO THE MULTIPOINT DISTRIBUTION
SYSTEM BAND PLAN

Clause 4 of the Multipoint Distribution System Band Plan is amended:

         (a)   by omitting from subclause (2) “(1988 to 1990) frequencies may be” and substituting “(until the day specified in a Proclamation made under subsection 24A (3) of the Radiocommunications Act 1983) frequencies in the band may only be”; and

         (b)   by omitting from subclause (3) “(1990 plus) up to 19 frequencies may allocated” and substituting “(from and including the day specified in a Proclamation made under subsection 24A (3) of the Radiocommunications Act 1983) frequencies in the band may only be assigned”.
