Finance (Overseas) Regulations2
(Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Audit Act 1901.

Commencement
1. Regulations 3 and 4 commence on 1 November 1989.
2. After regulation 2 of the Finance (Overseas) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:
Application of provisions of the Finance Regulations
“2a. Regulation 42 of the Finance Regulations applies in relation to the procurement of supplies outside Australia.”.
3. Regulation 2a of the Finance (Overseas) Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:
Application of provisions of the Finance Regulations
“2a. (1) Regulations 42 and 43 of the Finance Regulations apply in relation to the procurement of supplies outside Australia.
“(2) Regulation 43b of the Finance Regulations applies in relation to the procurement of supplies outside Australia that are to be used in Australia.
“(3) Part IIa of the Finance Regulations applies in relation to the spending of public moneys outside Australia.”.

Repeal
4. Regulations 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 of the Finance (Overseas) Regulations are repealed.
