  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Foreign States Immunities
Regulations.@01@

Interpretation 


  2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, "the
Act" means the Foreign States Immunities Act 1985.

Taxes: no immunity in proceedings 


  3. The provisions of the laws of Australia with respect to taxation
specified in the Schedule are prescribed for the purposes of section
20 of the Act.
