was as follows:

"WHEREAS by section 5 of the Egg Export Charges Act 1947 it is provided,
amongst other things, that the Governor-General may, after report to the
Minister by the Australian Egg Board, make regulations prescribing lower rates
of the charges imposed on any eggs exported from the Commonwealth:

"And whereas the Australian Egg Board has made a report to the Minister
that the rates of the charges imposed on eggs exported from the Commonwealth
should be such rates as are specified in the table to regulation 5 of the Egg
Export Charges Regulations as amended by these Regulations, being rates lower
than the rates imposed by the Egg Export Charges Act 1947:

"And whereas it is provided by section sixteen A of the Acts
Interpretation Act 1901-1957 that where, in an Act, the Governor-General is
referred to, the reference shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be
deemed to include the person for the time being administering the Government of
the Commonwealth and shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be read as
referring to a person so deemed to be included in the reference, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council:

"Now therefore I, the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth
of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby
make the following Regulation under the Egg Export Charges Act 1947."

EGG EXPORT CHARGES REGULATIONS - SECT. 1.
Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Egg Export Charges Regulations.*1*

EGG EXPORT CHARGES REGULATIONS - SECT. 2.
Commencement

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of July, 1959.

Repeal

3. The Egg Export Charges Regulations (comprising Statutory Rules 1948, No. 17; Statutory Rules 1949, No. 26; Statutory Rules 1950, No. 31; Statutory Rules 1951, No. 62; Statutory Rules 1953, No. 12; Statutory Rules 1954, No. 85; Statutory Rules 1955, No. 53; Statutory Rules 1956, No. 55; and Statutory Rules 1958, No. 43) are repealed.

EGG EXPORT CHARGES REGULATIONS - SECT. 4.
Interpretation

4. In these Regulations, "the Act" means the Egg Export Charges Act 1947-1965.


EGG EXPORT CHARGES REGULATIONS - SECT. 5.
Officers to whom moneys are to be paid

5. For the purposes of sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act, each officer holding, or performing the duties of, the office of Collector of Public Moneys, Department of Primary Industry in the capital city of a State is a prescribed officer.
