A Bill for an Act to amend the States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Act 2000, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the
States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Amendment Act 2003.
This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.
States Grants (Primary and Secondary Education Assistance) Act 2000
1 Schedule 5 (table items dealing with 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007)
Repeal the items, substitute:

2 Part 1 of Schedule 8 (table item dealing with 2003, column 4) Omit "4,292", substitute "7,750".
3 Part 1 of Schedule 8 (table item dealing with 2004, column 2)
Omit "258,164", substitute "291,954".
4 Part 1 of Schedule 8 (table item dealing with 2004, column 4)
Omit "Nil", substitute "7,414".
