An Act to amend the Family Law Act 1975
[Assented to 25 October 1991]
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
Short title etc.
1.(1) This Act may be cited as the Family Law Amendment Act (No. 2) 1991.
(2) In this Act, "Principal Act" means the Family Law Act 19751.
Commencement
2. This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Maximum age for Judges
3. Section 23A of the Principal Act is repealed.
Establishment of State Family Courts
4. Section 41 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (4)(b) "65" and substituting "70".
