1967 No. 51

 

REGULATION UNDER THE EGG EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1947–1966.*

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Egg Export Control Act 1947–1966 it is enacted that, for the purpose of enabling the Australian Egg Board effectively to control the export and distribution after export of Australian eggs, the Governor-General may make regulations prohibiting the export from the Commonwealth of any eggs except by persons who hold licences issued by the Minister or by a person thereto authorized in writing by the Minister, and subject to such conditions and restrictions as are prescribed after recommendation to the Minister by the Board:

And whereas the Australian Egg Board has recommended to the Minister that the conditions and restrictions applying to the export from the Commonwealth of eggs should be the conditions and restrictions set forth in the Egg Export Control (Licences) Regulations as amended in the manner set forth in the following Regulation:

Now therefore I, the Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Egg Export Control Act 1947–1966.

Amendment of the Egg Export Control (Licences) Regulations †

Conditions and restrictions.

Regulation 7 of the Egg Export Control (Licences) Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2.) the words three thousand nine hundred and inserting in their stead the words six hundred.
