REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1964.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, on the recommendation of the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby make the following Regulations under the Public Service Act 1922-1964.

Amendments of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations†
Meal allowance.
1. Regulation 55 of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “$1.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$1.25”.
Rate of travelling allowance.
2.—(1.) Regulation 51 of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table:—

(2.) Regulation 57 of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is further amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the figures “$13.50” and inserting in their stead the figures “$16.50”.

Overtime.
3. Regulation 65 of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (8.) the figures “$5,352.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$5,644.00”; and
(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (ii) of that paragraph the figures “$4,950.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$5,242.00”.
Sunday duty.
4. Regulation 65b of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (7.) the figures “$5,352.00” and “$4,950.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$5,644.00” and “$5,242.00”, respectively.
Payment for duty on a holiday.
5. Regulation 65c of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (9.) the figures “$5,352.00” and “$4,950.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$5,644.00” and “$5,242.00”, respectively.
Application.
6. The amendments of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations effected by these Regulations apply in relation to service in the Parliamentary Service on and after the fourteenth day of February, 1966.
