An Act to amend the Flags Act 1953.

[Assented to 6th November, 1954.]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title and citation.

1.—(1.)     This Act may be cited as the Flags Act 1954.

(2.)    The Flags Act 1953, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Flags Act 1953–1954.

Commencement.

2.  This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the fourteenth day of April, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-four.

First Schedule.

3.  The First Schedule to the Flags Act 1953 is amended by omitting from the second column of Table A the word “Three-eighths” and inserting in its stead the word “Three-tenths”.
