No. 27 of 1921.

An Act relating to Preferential Duties of Customs on certain Goods the produce or manufacture of the Dominion of New Zealand.

[Assented to 16th December, 1921.]

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1.  This Act may he cited as the Customs Tariff (New Zealand Preference) 1921.

Preferential Duties for New Zealand goods may be declared by proclamation.

2.  The Governor-General may, from time to time, by Proclamation declare that the duties of Customs which shall be imposed upon any goods, specified in the Proclamation, which are imported into the Commonwealth from the Dominion of New Zealand and are the produce or manufacture of that Dominion, shall be those respectively specified in the Column headed “British Preferential Tariff” of the Schedule to the Customs Tariff 1921.
