Extension of appointment of Glenys Beauchamp AO PSM of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand

Ms Glenys Beauchamp AO PSM was appointed as Chair of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand from 4 November 2021 to 31 August 2025.   As Ms Beauchamp’s original term as the Chair of the Board has ended and, as the Minister has not made a decision to re-appoint or not to re-appoint Ms Beauchamp, then by virtue of subsection 117(5) of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (Cth), her term as Chair of the Board will continue on the basis that the original term is extended until the end of the period of 6 months from 1 September 2025; or until the Minister notifies whether Ms Beauchamp is reappointed or not, whichever first happens.
