Stated Maps – Amendment Notice

1                      Authorising provision

This Notice is made under:

a)      Section 174 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law as applied in each participating jurisdiction.

 

2                      Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to amend stated maps for vehicles at the request of road managers.  

3                      Commencement Date

The amendments take effect 28 days after publication of Amendment Notice 2019 (No.10)

4                      Title

This Notice may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle Stated Maps – Amendment Notice 2019 (No.10)

5                      Application

This Notice applies in all participating jurisdictions.  

6                      Amendments

The specified networks in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to this Notice are amended as specified in Column 4 for the Road Manager’s reasons shown in Column 5.

-          Bridge over Wheeo Creek chainage 15km from MR54 intersection at Latitude -34.4525 Longitude 149.2755

-          Bridge over Old man Gunyah Creek chainage 38km from MR 54 at Latitude -34.4140 Longitude 149.0689

 

Axle mass limits are reduced to:

Single Axle – 7 tonnes

Tandem Axle – 8 tonnes

Tri-Axle – 11 tonnes

These reduced limits are implemented after bridge inspection.

-          40km/hr speed limit

-          Portable traffic signal for one lane access arrangements

Bridge has structural deterioration.
