DESIGNATION OF A POSITION IN THE AUSTRALIAN PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MEMBERSHIP OF THE COOPERATIVE RESEARCH CENTRES ADVISORY COMMITTEE UNDERS SUBSECTION 22(2)

I, IAN ELGIN MACFARLANE, Minister for Industry and Science, pursuant to subsection 22(2) of the Industry Research and Development Act 1986, HEREBY

(i)                 DESIGNATE the Deputy Secretary with responsibility for science and commercialisation policy in the Department of Industry and Science.

(ii)               DETERMINE that it is appropriate that the person who is at any time performing the duties of that position be a member of the Cooperative Research Centres Advisory Committee.
