Horticultural Levy (Apple and Pear) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Horticultural Levy Act 1987 and the Horticultural Levy Collection Act 1987.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall be taken to have commenced on 1 December 1988.

Exemption from levy

2. Paragraph 5 (f) of the Horticultural Levy (Apple and Pear) Regulations is amended by omitting “on which levy is, or becomes, payable under the Canned Fruits Levy Act 1979” and substituting “used in the production of canned fruit”.
