National Measurement (Patterns of

Instruments) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and after taking into consideration recommendations made by the National Standards Commission to the Minister of State for Science with respect to regulations to be made for the purposes of sub-section 19a (1) of the National Measurement Act 1960, hereby make the following Regulation under that Act.

Certificate of approval

Regulation 9 of the National Measurement (Patterns of Instruments) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (3) (d) and; and

(b) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (3) the following word and paragraph:

and; (f) an amount of error that may be tolerated in instruments of the same kind as the instrument in respect of the pattern of which the certificate is issued..
