Pig Slaughter Levy Regulations2
(Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and after taking into consideration the recommendation made to the Minister of State for Primary Industry by the Pork Promotion Committee constituted under the Pork Promotion Act 1975 that the amount of 80 cents in respect of each pig slaughtered be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Pig Slaughter Levy Act 1971, being the amount last recommended by that Committee to the Minister, hereby make the following Regulations under the Pig Slaughter Levy Act 1971.

Commencement
1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 March 1985.
Prescribed amount for the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Act
2. Regulation 4 of the Pig Slaughter Levy Regulations is amended by omitting “60” and substituting “80”.
