Wheat Industry Fund Levy Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, having taken into account the relevant recommendations made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the Grains Council of Australia, hereby make the following Regulations under the Wheat Industry Fund Levy Act 1989.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Wheat Industry Fund Levy Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“the Act” means the Wheat Industry Fund Levy Act 1989.

Rate of levy

3. For the purposes of paragraph 6 (b) of the Act, the rate of 2.5% is prescribed.

Minimum amount

4. For the purposes of subsection 8 (1) of the Act, the amount of $50 is prescribed.
