General Insurance Supervisory Levy

Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the General Insurance Supervisory Levy Act 1989.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the General Insurance Supervisory Levy Regulations.

Commencement

2. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1990.

Annual rate of general insurance levy

3. For the purposes of subsection 9 (1) of the General Insurance Supervisory Levy Act 1989, the amount of $11,600 is the annual rate applicable to a leviable day.
