An Act relating to the Australian National University.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Australian National University Act 1963.
(2.) The Australian National University Act 1946–1960, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Australian National University Act 1946–1963.
2. After section six of the Australian National University Act 1946–1960 the following section is inserted:—
Power to make astronomical observations, &c.
“6a. The powers of the University extend to the making of astronomical and meteorological observations in any part of the Commonwealth.”.
