APPROPRIATION 1960–61.

An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund a sum for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, and to appropriate the Supplies granted by the Parliament for that year.
[Assented to 12th November, 1960.]
BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—
Short title.
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act 1960–61.
Commencement.
2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Issue and application of £475,533,000.
3. The Treasurer may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply towards making good the supply hereby granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, the sum of Four hundred and seventy-five million five hundred and thirty-three thousand pounds.
Appropriation of supply £742,389,000.
4. All sums granted by this Act and by the other Act mentioned in the First Schedule to this Act out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one, amounting as appears by that Schedule in the aggregate to the sum of Seven hundred and forty-two million three hundred and eighty-nine thousand pounds are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty, for the purposes and services expressed in the Second Schedule to this Act in relation to the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-one.
