REGULATIONS UNDER THE SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY RESEARCH ACT 1949.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Science and Industry Research Act 1949.

Amendments of the Science and Industry Research Regulations.

Travelling allowance payable to members of a State Committee.

1.—(1.) Regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Three pounds three shillings” and inserting in their stead the words “Four pounds four shillings”.

(2.) This regulation shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of November, 1953.

Appointment &c., of officers.

2. Regulation 6 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “One thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds” and inserting in their stead the words “Two thousand pounds”.
