APPROPRIATION (WORKS AND SERVICES) (NO. 2) 1949-50.

No. 3 of 1950.

An Act to grant and apply an additional sum out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty for the purposes of Additions, New Works and other Services involving Capital Expenditure and to appropriate that sum.

[Assented to 28th June, 1950.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows :

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Works and Services) Act (No. 2) 1949-50.

Commencement.

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Issue and application of £11,000,000.

3. The Treasurer may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply towards making good the supply hereby granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty, the sum of Eleven million pounds.

4. The sum granted by this Act is appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, for the purposes and services set forth in the Schedule to this Act in relation to the financial year ending the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty.
