REGULATION UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901-1947 AND THE COMMERCE (TRADE DESCRIPTIONS) ACT 1905-1933.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901-1947 and the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905-1933.

Amendment of the Exports (General) Regulations.†
Item 7 of the First Schedule to the Exports (General) Regulations is amended by adding, after paragraph 1 in the second column, the following paragraph:—
“ 2. The vegetables shall, in the opinion of an officer, be—
(a) packed, in accordance with a method approved by the Secretary, in packages or containers which are suitable in respect of size, nature, durability and cleanliness ;
(b) uniform in size ; and
(c) not likely to arrive at their destination in a deteriorated condition.”.
