REGULATIONS UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1941.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923-1941.

Amendments of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations.†
Variation of salary on account of variations in cost of living.
1.—(1.) Regulation 49 of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “July” and inserting in its stead the word “May”;
(b) by omitting from that sub-regulation the word “January” and inserting in its stead the word “November”;
(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (4.) the word “July” and inserting in its stead the word “May”; and
(d) by omitting from that sub-regulation the word “January” and inserting in its stead the word “November”.
(2.) This regulation shall be deemed to have come into operation on the fifteenth day of April, 1942.
Meal allowances.
2. Regulation 53 of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting the scale in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following scale:—

Removal of furniture.
3. Regulation 76 of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from the table in sub-regulation (1.) the figures “300” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the figures “312”; and
(b) by omitting from that table the figures “600” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the figures “612”.
Rates of travelling allowances.
4. Regulation 78 of the Air- Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from the first column of the scale in sub-regulation (1.) the figures “312” and inserting in their stead the figures “324”;
(b) by omitting from that column the figures and word “£313 to £480” and inserting in their stead the figures and word “£325 to £492”;
(c) by omitting from that column the figures and word “£481 to £708” and inserting in their stead the figures and word “£493 to £720”;
(d) by omitting from that column the figures and word “£709 to £999” and inserting in their stead the figures and word “£721 to £1,011”; and
(e) by omitting from that column the figures “1000” and inserting in their stead the figures “1012”.
Allowances to officers working within defined districts.
5. Regulation 79 of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from the first column of the scale in sub-regulation (1.) the figures “312” and inserting in their stead the figures “324”;
(b) by omitting from that column the figures and word “£313 to £480” and inserting in their stead the figures and word “£325 to £492”; and
(c) by omitting from that column the figures “481” and inserting in their stead the figures “493”.
Class of travelling accommodation.
6. Regulation 86 of the Air Force (Civil Staff) Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “336” and inserting in their stead the figures “348”.
