REGULATIONS UNDER THE INCOME TAX ASSESSMENT ACT 1922-1925.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following amendment under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1922-1925, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Regulations Under The Income Tax Assessment Act 1922-1925.

(Statutory Rules 1923, No. 12, as amended to this date.)

(a) Regulation 18 is amended by inserting the following new sub-regulation:—

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in this regulation, returns of income derived by persons resident in the territory for the seat of government from sources within Australia shall be furnished to the Commissioner at his office in Canberra.

(b) Regulation 22 is amended by omitting paragraph (A).
