BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITION APPROPRIATION.

An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of One hundred and fifteen thousand pounds to provide for the representation of the Commonwealth at the British Empire Exhibition 1924.

Preamble.

BE it enacted by the Kings Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the British Empire Exhibition Appropriation Act 1922.

Appropriation of £115,000.

2. There shall be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly, for the purpose of providing for the representation of the Commonwealth at the British Empire Exhibition to be held at Wembley Park, Middlesex, England, during the year One thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the sum of One hundred and fifteen thousand pounds.
