PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACTS 1903–1904.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Defence Acts 1903–1904 should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

Regulations for the Commonwealth Military Cadet Corps.

Amendments.

At the end of Regulation 2, Section 1, as amended by Statutory Rules No. 85, of 16th August, 1907, and No. 49, of 10th April, 1908, add:—

“In such cases one additional Major may be added to the Head-Quarters of the Battalion Staff.”

Regulation 24, Section 3, 4th line, the words “an Instructor” are cancelled, and the word “Instructors” substituted therefor.

Regulation 45. Section 4, 1st line, the words “Officers of the Cadet Corps of the Commonwealth” are cancelled, and the following substituted:—

“Officers and Non-commissioned Officers of the Instructional Staff of the Commonwealth Military Cadet Corps.”
