COAST DEFENCE APPROPRIATION.

An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of Two hundred and fifty thousand pounds for Harbor and Coastal Defences.

Preamble.

BE it enacted by the Kings Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Coast Defence Appropriation Act 1908.

Appropriation of £250,000 for Harbor and Coastal Defence.

2. There shall be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly for the purposes of the Trust Account established under the Audit Acts 1901–1906 and known as the Harbor and Coastal Defence (Naval) Account, the sum of Two hundred and fifty thousand pounds for Harbor and Coastal Defence (Naval) purposes.
