An Act to amend the Judiciary Act 1903.

[Assented to 28th August, 1906.]

BE it enacted by the Kings Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Judiciary Act 1906, and this Act and the Judiciary Act 1903 may together he cited as the Judiciary Acts 1903-1906.

Justices.

2. Section four of the Judiciary Act 1903 is amended by omitting the word two and inserting in lieu thereof the word four.

Admission of barristers and solicitors.

3. Section eighty-six of the Judiciary Act 1903 is amended by inserting after paragraph (g) the following paragraph:—

(ga) Providing for the admission of persons to practise as barristers or solicitors in any Federal Court, and prescribing the conditions of and qualifications for admission, and continuance of the right to practise as aforesaid.
